David Pulliam, Founder
DAVID PULLIAM is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he was born and raised. Growing up, David was a multi-sport athlete, earning honors throughout the years in Football, Basketball, Baseball and Track and Field. In high school David was ranked one of the top 35 athletes in Southeast Pennsylvania, after being a public league champion quarterback/safety. David signed a full ride football scholarship to Eastern Michigan University where he studied Business Management with a concentration in HR. David completed his college studies at his father’s hometown HBCU, North Carolina A&T State University. At A&T, David helped his team win both a Conference and National title, while being a part of the school’s first ever HBCU Undefeated National Champion Football Team. David graduated with a bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Pre Law.
After graduating from North Carolina A&T State University, David sharpened his skillset in Corporate America working across Product Design, User Experience (UX), and Cultural Marketing in the Tech industry. David has led partnerships with Fortune 100 companies, spearheaded local and globally initiatives, and coached and mentored hundreds of young adults from underrepresented communities. His success in this industry has led him to be highlighted on many large platforms including Afro Tech, Culture Podcasts, and his Alma mater.
David is passionate about community development, Sports, Tech and employment equity which all are in alignment with his philanthropic work; leading social impact strategies across the tech industry and historically black colleges and universities. David truly believes that during the process of life, who you become is more important than what you acquire. Something he preaches to his mentees every day.
